Environmentally Friendly; Fashionably Hip

BUSINESS SITUATION:

Our Client was looking for a “green,” exciting way to promote the use of reusable bags.

THE SOLUTION:

We worked with the client to develop fashionable, branded totes that would make customers feel the totes were more than simple shopping bags. The idea was that if customers liked their reusable totes, they would use them often, and help the environment by reducing waste from plastic bags. These totes would also save the client money by having to purchase fewer disposable plastic bags, and generate revenue by selling the totes in store.

THE RESULTS:

Signature by Ivie developed a “Reduce, Reuse Recycle” campaign for the Client that promoted these reusable totes. The strategy included a company-wide launch and promotion. We designed weekly ads to promote the campaign and provided materials for in-store display racks. Over 1 million reusable bags were designed, purchased, and shipped to all store locations for the kick-off. The Signature by Ivie reusable bag program has since grown to include region-specific bag promotions. Over 1.4 million reusable bags have been ordered since 2008.
