Flower Mound, Texas – July, 2009:

Keeping with our commitment to make our clients aware of industry changes, we are providing you an update regarding recent price developments in the paper industry. The economic downturn has impacted every aspect of business, and the printing and paper industry is no exception.

Starting in July, the price of newsprint grade (uncoated papers) will be decreased. This decrease applies to formats that use 2.7# newsprint and 30# HB65. All Ivie clients currently using these papers should see the effects of this change as soon as the reduction occurs.

Based on our experience and continued analysis of the market, we believe prices will continue to decline. Although nothing has been announced, with demand down nearly 30% from last year, we expect coated paper pricing will follow the uncoated trend in the near future.

We will continue to communicate future industry updates with you and, as always, will continue to look for ways to cut costs on EVERY job we execute.
