Safety of Ivie Reusable Bags
The scare over lead in reusable bags may have dropped out of the headlines, but it has not fallen off of Ivie's radar. Ivie is and always has been dedicated to safety and quality and our reusable bags have always "passed the test" and have not fallen into the subject of a challenge or recall. We have the following safeguards in place to ensure that we are compliant so our clients feel confident:
- Ivie has its own American managed office in China staffed with professionals who personally monitor the sourcing, production and safety/quality of all the reusable bags we deliver.
- Ivie's Reusable bags are required to contain less than 100ppm total lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium. This strict requirement ensures Ivie's reusable bags comply with heavy metal safety and disposal standards in all of the US states and Europe.
- Ivie client may request and will receive certified third party test reports proving compliance with ASTM, CPSIA08, TPCH (CONEG), or EN71/94-62-EC standards.
