DALLAS, Texas, May 25, 2018 – The 2017-18 period marks the first year ever that the Tellys have given out their new Gold award, and Ivie is the recipient of two Golds, three Silvers and seven Bronze awards. In total, Ivie was awarded 12 Telly Awards this year.

As an established marketing company, Ivie is no stranger to winning the prestigious award; from 2014–2016, Ivie took home 24 Telly Awards for various innovative client campaigns.

“That our highest marker for excellence has been represented by silver for 39 years is a quirk that’s entrenched in our nearly four-decade history,” said a spokesperson for the Telly Awards organization. “However, from meeting a number of you and understanding that an absence of Gold is a confusing symbol to the market, we are excited to introduce a Gold Telly which will exclusively be awarded to the top 3% of winning entries.”

“We are honored to have been able to take home not one, but two Gold Telly Awards this year along with three Silvers and seven Bronze,” said Warren Ivie, CEO and Founder of Ivie. “We couldn’t be prouder of our teams and all the hard work that went into developing and maturing these winning submissions.”

Ivie’s two entries included television ads for Jewel-Osco and Methodist Health; the Gold Awards were won for the Jewel-Osco “As Local As It Gets” campaign and the music for the 60-second Methodist Health “Performance” spot.

Established in 1979, the Telly Awards are the premier awards honoring video and television across all screens. They receive over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. Winners are selected for recognition based on excellence in Branded Content; Commercials and Marketing; Non-Broadcast; Series/Shows/Segments; and Social Video.

“It’s exciting to see how perfectly this year’s winners capture the innovation and energy of the rapidly changing video and television industry that we rebuilt the Telly Awards to recognize,” said Tellys managing director Sabrina Dridje. “They are an exciting culmination to an ambitious year-long effort that has re-established The Telly Awards as a trusted benchmark for the industry.”
